Auschwitz was a concentration camp
during WWII. A concentration camp is a place where a large numbers of
political prisoners or minorities are imprisoned, Jews were the singled out
people here. Auschwitz had the worst punishments and torture out of all of the
camps in the 1940's, it had three camps which consisted of Auschwitz,
Birkneau, Monowitz, Auschwitz being the first and largest. Origins
of Auschwitz can be dated back to early 1940. It is one of the only
concentration camps that used brick barracks. People had many attempts to bomb
Auschwitz but it never actually worked.180 out of 7000 children at
Auschwitz were used for medical experiments by Doctor Josef Mengele.
